Services : The Site https://english.famille-li.com provides Users with all the elements (the Content) constituting the information on the Site, in particular texts, images and videos.
User nformations : Hereinafter referred to as "Information(s)" which corresponds to all personal data that may be held by "english.famille-li.com" for the management of your account, the management of the User relationship and for analysis and statistical purposes.
User : Internet users (whether or not members of the Association Émile-Jean Lépissier) logging on, using the aforementioned Site.
Personal Informations : "Information that allows, in any form whatsoever, directly or indirectly, the identification of the natural persons to whom it applies" (article 4 of law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978). 2- General conditions of use of the Site and the services offered.
The Site is an intellectual work protected by the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code and the applicable International Regulations. The User may in no way reuse, transfer or exploit for his own account all or part of the elements or works on the Site.
Use of the Site "english.famille-li.com" implies full and complete acceptance of the general conditions of use described below. These conditions of use may be modified or supplemented at any time, and users of the Site are therefore invited to consult them on a regular basis.
This Website is normally accessible to users at all times. The purpose of the Website "english.famille-li.com" is to provide information concerning the history of the Lépissier Ancestors in China, as well as information on third parties who lived in China during the colonial period or on other Lépissier family members who did not live in China. The person in charge of the publication endeavours to provide on the Site information that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies and shortcomings in the updating, whether these are due to its own fault or to the fault of third parties who provide it with these informations.
4- Contractual Limitations on technical data.
The Site uses JavaScript technology. The Website may not be held liable for any material damage related to the use of the Website. In addition, the user of the Website undertakes to access the Website using recent equipment, free of viruses and with a latest-generation browser. The Site is hosted by a service provider on the territory of the European Union in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR: n° 2016-679).
The objective is to provide a service that ensures the best rate of accessibility. The host ensures the continuity of its service 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, it reserves the right to interrupt the hosting service for the shortest possible time, in particular for maintenance purposes, to improve its infrastructures, in the event of a breakdown in its infrastructures or if the Services and Facilities generate heavy traffic.
The Site and the host cannot be held responsible in the event of malfunctioning of the Internet network, telephone lines or computer and telephone equipment, in particular due to network congestion preventing access to the server.
5- Intellectual property and counterfeits.
The Association Émile-jean Lépissier is the owner of the intellectual property rights and holds the rights of use on all the elements accessible on the Website, in particular the texts, images, graphics, logos, videos, icons and sounds. 6- Limitations of liability.
The Association Émile-Jean Lépissier acts as the publisher of the https: "english.famille-li.com" website.
The Association Émile-Jean Lépissier may not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to the user's equipment when accessing the "english.famille-li.com" Website, resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications indicated in point 4, or from the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.

7- Management of personal data.
The User is informed of the regulations concerning marketing communication, the law of 21 June 2014 for confidence in the digital economy, the Data Protection Act of 6 August 2004 and the General Data protection Regulations (GDPR: n° 2016-679).
7.1- Persons responsible for the collection of personnal data.
For Personal Data collected in the context of the creation of the User's personal account and his browsing on the Site, the person responsible for processing Personal Data (DPO) is Bertrand Lépissier, legal representative of the Association Émile-Jean Lépissier.
As the person responsible for processing the data it collects, the Association Émile-Jean Lépissier undertakes to comply with the legal provisions in force. Whenever the Association processes Personal Data, it takes all reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the Personal Data with regard to the purposes for which the Association processes them.
7.2- Purpose of the data collected
The Association may process all or part of the data:
- In order to enable navigation on the Site and the management and traceability of any services ordered by the user: connection and Site use data,
- To prevent and fight against computer fraud (spamming, hacking...): computer hardware used for browsing, IP address, password ("hash"),
- To improve navigation on the Site: connection and usage data,

7.3- Right of access, rectification and opposition

As soon as the Association Émile-Jean Lépissier becomes aware of the death of a member of the Association and in the absence of instructions from him, it undertakes to destroy his data, unless it is necessary to retain them for evidentiary purposes or to meet a legal obligation.

In this case, the User must indicate the Personal Data that he/she would like the Association Émile-Jean Lépissier to correct, update or delete, identifying him/herself precisely with a copy of an identity document (identity card or passport).
Requests for the deletion of Personal Data will be subject to the obligations imposed on the Association Émile-Jean Lépissier by law, in particular with regard to the conservation or archiving of documents. Finally, Users of the Site may lodge a complaint with the control authorities, in particular the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).
7.4 Non-communication of personal data
