The known origin of the Lépissier family is in the Ardennes, in the small village of Villiers-devant-le-Thour (08190) to be more precise.
It is possible to trace the existence of an André Lépissier (or Lépicier or Lépiscier) born around 1630 and died on 27 May 1721 in Villiers-devant-le-Thour..
It has not yet been possible to determine the exact date of the departure of the ancestor Lépissier to Paris. Research is underway.
On the other hand, it is possible to precisely follow the Lépissier line since 1760.
