The Lépissier family is fortunate to have been able to keep many private documents from his ancestor Émile-Laurent Lépissier, to which are added some public documents concerning him.

The following tab (Only available to members of the Association Émile-Jean Lépissier) will present 149 of these documents from the "Collection Lépissier" in the form of 31 e-books, the first of which is the e-book of the various family archives (96 documents), concerning Laurent Lépissier.

Among the 31 e-books presented, 5 include 27 copies (917 pages) of the North China Herald and Supreme Court & Consular Gazette from Émile-Laurent Lépissier. The English North China Herald is universally acclaimed as the prime printed source in any language for the history of the foreign presence in China from around 1850 to the 1940s.
